Welcome
Canandaigua Rugby was founded in 2009 as a boys only club who competed in matches against yough teams from Buffalo, Rochester, & Syracuse. For the 2010 season, we have joined the NYS Rugby Conference. There is both a boys side (Youth Boys Class B) and a girls side (Youth Girls Class A).
Who can Play
For the 2010 season, we are opening the team up to both boys and girls who meet the following requirements:
-Dues paid at parent meeting on 2/9/2010 (details under How to
Join)
-Shorts & socks purchased (last year's will work)
-Completed and
signed paperwork packets (distributed at parent meeting, due 3/1/2010)
-Full
time student at Canandaigua MS/Academy in grades 8-12
-Academic
Eligibility does not occur automatically as it does with school sports. I will
uphold the same requirements per parent requests.
-Have been cleared by your
doctor (see physical paperwork in Player Packet)

*Due to Canisus folding, our 5/16 match with them has been cancelled and our
5/8 match that was against Fairport B has been changed to an away match at City
Honors (located in downtown Buffalo)

Training will begin on March 1, 2010 and will be held at the following time:
Monday – Wednesday 4-630PM
Thursday 3-6 PM
Friday 3-530 PM
